Trolley theft takes on new meaning.
While Juliet and Wilson were out canvassing they saw this homeless man bashing the coin insert mechanism of several trolleys, that he had evidently stashed behind a property on Oaklands Park Avenue. When Wilson approached him, the man hurriedly placed a black bag into a trolley and scooted away. We have sent images of the felony to Clementswood Neighbourhood Police Team and have emailed Tescoes, Sainsburys, Lidl, Farm Foods and Aldi warning them of this potential crime to their establishments. We will take a look at the trolleys this week and ask the owners to remove them and return them to their base.
We noted that the local Labour canvassers just ignored the crime and continued to canvass homes.
