MEP Jean Lambert joined three of the nine local candidates selected for Redbridge in promoting the new Redbridge Manifesto for 2014.  Read the Redbridge manifesto (Click Here)

The manifesto itself was drawn up after consultation between the new candidates for the borough, who have been vigourously meeting with local people to ensure their point of view was incorporated into the new code.

Wilson Chowdhry a long term Green Party Member and former candidate for Chadwell ward said;

"This year Redbridge Green Party will stand more prospective councillors in Redbridge than any previous year. It is a remarkable achievement and illustrates the development of our group and the increased local favour for Green Party policies."

He added;

"Our success in the 2010 General Election in attaining our first Parliamentary seat through Caroline Lucas and the long running success of our existing two MEP's, is evidence that our comprehensive approach to UK politics has reached the mainstream.  We are no longer considered a one theme party."

MEP Jean Lambert has been London's MEP since 1999.  Learn more about her work (Click here)
